Hanna Daub
Germany / 23

Hanna Daub began playing the cello at the age of nine, receiving her first lessons from Barbara Rieger at the Tübingen Music School. In 2019, she became a junior student in the class of Professor Tristan Cornut at the State University of Music and Performing Arts Stuttgart, where she completed her Bachelor’s degree in 2025. She is currently pursuing her Master’s studies with Professor Jean-Guihen Queyras at the Freiburg University of Music.

Further artistic inspiration came through her studies at the Stauffer Academy in Cremona with Professor Frans Helmerson, as well as an Erasmus semester at the Conservatoire de Paris with Professor Raphaël Pidoux.

She has also benefited from masterclasses with renowned cellists such as David Geringas, Gary Hoffman, and Wolfgang Emanuel Schmidt.

Hanna plays a cello made by Claude-Augustin Miremont, generously loaned to her by the Landessammlung Baden-Württemberg.
