NOAH LEE AND ARTYOM IOANISYAN WIN TOP PRIZES AT BUCHET INTERNATIONAL CELLO COMPETITION
Noah Lee (USA) was awarded First Prize, “Prix Maryse Buchet,” while Artyom Ioanisyan (Armenia) received Second Prize, “Prix Delen Private Bank.”
Both musicians previously distinguished themselves at the Classic Cello International Competition, held from 26 March to 6 April 2026 at the Royal College of Music in London. Noah Lee was awarded Eighth Prize, while Artyom Ioanisyan secured Third Prize.
Their latest achievements in Belgium mark another important milestone in their developing international careers, just months after their performances at Classic Cello 2026.
The Buchet International Cello Competition brought together talented young cellists for a series of competitive performances in Mons, followed by a laureates’ concert at Flagey in Brussels on 31 October 2026.
